History
Shore Sales Company
was started in 1968 as a moisture meter sales and service company. Since
that time, we have grown by leaps and bounds. We still continue the moisture
meter business, but we have expanded our product line to include all grain
grading equipment. We also manufacture equipment under the Shore name
like our Model 920 and 930 portable moisture testers.
The moisture meter line includes Motomco, Steinlite,
Shore, and Perten. All of these brands are available for sale and are
backed by the Shore Service Dept. Our most important slogan at Shore is
"WE SERVICE WHAT WE SELL". If a problem ever occurs with your
equipment, Shore will do the necessary repairs. We maintain the largest
loaner inventory in the business, so you are never out of operation while
your equipment is down for repair. We are the authorized moisture meter
service center for the USDA Federal Grain Inspection Service. We are responsible
for maintaining accurate grain calibrations for GIPSA-FGIS standard meters.
This means you will always get an accurate moisture meter calibration
from Shore Sales.
We also have a full line of grain grading scales.
Shore introduced the first electronic test weight and dockage scale in
1978. That was the Shore/NCI Model G200. Most grain test scales on the
market today were patterned after the G200. We now feature the Ohaus Adventure
PB04102N grain test scale to compute test weight and dockage percentages.
We are an authorized OHAUS dealer and handle their complete line of balances.
These scales are also backed by our service department and we can provide
factory authorized warranty repairs and loaners are available.
In addition to the OHAUS and Shore names, we can provide service for most
other makes of grain scales.
Our current customer list stands at over 10,500
members and grows each day. We serve customers in all 50 of the United
States, South Africa, Brazil and in to Canada and Mexico. We are
proud of the reputation that our company has in the United States and
it is our goal to obtain that same reputation in the International Market
