Temperature will transition very quickly
to room temperature from the extremes. The farther from ambient
temperature the faster the movement and visa versa, the closer to
ambient temperature the slower the movement.
Many testers do not get an accurate temperature,
hence not an accurate moisture test.
When grain is dryed, it drys from the
outside in. In other words, the outside is dryer than the inside.
Some moisture meters do a better job of "looking all the way through"
than others.
